by Uncover Colorado on 02/25/11

Breckenridge got hit hard this past President's Day weekend, so we decided to head up the night before to dodge the traffic. All affordable hotels were booked up in Summit County, so we stayed 30 minutes south of Breckenridge in Fairplay, CO, aka South Park.

I lasted two hours before retreating to Pepperonis (pizza restaurant located at base of Mary Jane) for some Microbrew and a slice of pie.
