About Eldora Mountain
General:
Eldora is a locals' favorite mountain, offering up enough variety of terrain at a fair price. There are three routes to get there from Denver, assuring that traffic is never an issue. Eldora's slogan is "friends don't let friends drive I-70" and "just say no to I-70".
Terrain:
Eldora has terrain for everyone: groomers, steeps, bumps, trees, a freestyle terrain park. At this Colorado ski resort both a beginner and expert skier will find plenty to do.
The mountain has a good amount of expert terrain - blacks and double blacks. From the Lookout on the summit of Eldora, head skier-left through a gate to access steep tree runs. After ripping through Salto or Moose Glades, hit the Corona chairlift and do it again.
Village:
There are a few places to dine while at Eldora. Look-out Cafe offers cafeteria style grub on the scenic summit of Eldora Mountain. There is also a restaurant in the lodge at the base.
Visit nearby Nederland, CO for more robust dining, shopping and lodging options. Nederland is a funky town, located west of Boulder. Lots of former Boulder residents moved to Nederland as Boulder got too expensive.
Deals:
Daily discounts with the Colorao GEMs card.
Reasons to Go:
Avoid all I-70 traffic; Affordable lift tickets.
