About The Springs Resort in Pagosa Springs
General:
The Springs Resort is located in the San Juan mountain town of Pagosa Springs. Recently renovated, the Resort has a modern, theme-park feel to it. There are a few other places in the town of Pagosa Springs to soak in hot mineral waters, but this one is the biggest.
Facility:
There are about twenty different pools spread out around The Springs Resort. There are also platinum-level pools available for an extra fee. We did not pay the extra fee, but I am sure they are nice.
There are also nice indoor locker rooms for changing. The Springs Resort, as its name implies, has all the amenities of a luxury spa. The whole town of Pagosa Springs spells of Sulphur, but you you get used to it quickly.
Atmosphere:
Family friendly. There are usually plenty of people here (especially during the ski season), so it may not be as quiet and relaxing as other Colorado hot springs. This is really the only thing that takes away from this otherwise spectacular facility. Swimsuits required.
