The Indian Hot Springs is the closest hot mineral springs to Denver, CO (at about 40 minutes) and makes a great stop on the way back to the front-range from a day in the Rockies.

Indian Hot Springs has a large pool, private indoor and outdoor hot tubs filled with mineral water, as well as geo-thermal caves with tubs filled hot springs water.
The geo-thermal caves at Indian Hot Spring in Idaho Springs is unqiue and worth the trip. There are two separate geo-thermal caves (one for male and female) each equipped with 3-4 mineral hot tubs. The cave itself is hot and creates a steam room feel, but not like a vapor cave. These caves were carved out of the mountain in the early 1900s. Clothing is optional in the caves, just fyi.
