Hot Sulphur Springs is located between Kremmling and Granby along Highway 40. It is close to the ski resorts of Winter Park and SolVista and definitely worth a stop if you are in town for a few days.
If you are heading to Steamboat from Denver, try taking Highway 40 all the way from I-70 (exit 232) to Steamboat Springs. It's an extra 45 minutes vs. taking I-70 to Silverthorne, but worth the stop if you got the time.
Facility:
The Hot Sulphur Springs resort is nicely laid out on the hill side in Hot Sulphur Springs, CO. There are 21 different hot mineral pools, some equipped with waterfalls, some big, and some small. There are usually plenty of people here, but it is still a relaxing hot springs destination in Colorado.
There is also an indoor poolhouse for doing laps in warmer mineral water. Hot Sulphur Springs is equipped with locker rooms.
