The Glenwood Hot Springs is Colorado's most popular hot springs destination. It is actually the world's largest hot springs swimming pool. The pool at Glenwood Springs is usually crowded, but because of its size, you can still find space to relax and do your own thing.
If you plan on skiing at Aspen, consider staying in Glenwood Springs. Glenwood Springs is more affordable than Aspen and has plenty of history and accommodations. Plus, you can take advantage of the popular mineral springs for apres-ski.
Facility:
Glenwood Hot Springs is one giant swimming pool. On one end you have lanes set up for laps and diving boards. On the other end, is a sectioned off area with hotter temperature water. All through the middle is just a gigantic area filled with hot mineral water. There are indoor locker rooms and a fitness center.
Bring some quarters, as there are water jets in the pool that cost maybe 50 cents for about five minutes time.
