About Eldorado Springs
General:
Opened in 1905, Eldorado Springs Resort has long been a popular hot springs destination for those around the Denver-Boulder area. At the time it was regarded as the largest swimming pool in the country. Visitors came by train and horseback to visit the "Coney Island of the West".
The entire resort is great and looks like an old western town. It is snuggled up again the Foothills in Boulder and has awesome scenery. The cost is $8 to visit and the swimming pool is open from Memorial Day to Labor Day.
The Eldorado Springs Resort is also a big bottled water company, known around Colorado for its natural spring water.
Facility:
A giant, modern swimming pool is fed directly from an artesian spring. This Colorado Hot Springs pool has both a slide and a diving board.
There are also changing rooms and a snack bar at the Eldorado Swimming Pool in Boulder.
